As the fourth shortest New Testament book (Philemon, 2 John and 3 John are shorter), Jude is the last of 8 general epistles. Jude does not quote the Old Testament directly, but there are at least 9 obvious allusions to it. Contextually, this “epistolary sermon” could be called “The Acts of the Apostates.”. Below, I’ll recommend a particular New Testament books song to teach your kids. I like this particular version because it is: Lively and fun, which means your kids will actually enjoy learning the books of the New Testament. Catchy, which means you won’t struggle to teach the New Testament books memory song to your kids. Effortless.

It is a book of profound encounters with God and His people. In all these encounters, God progressively reveals who He is and what His plans are for all mankind. It is not merely a history book, although it does take us through the history of the Israelites. Neither must the Old Testament be seen in isolation from the New Testament.   The New Testament text we read in our English Bibles is based on the original Greek text. We know this text, albeit imperfectly, through a large number of ancient manuscripts. All these manuscripts are mere copies, and the great majority of them are copies of copies, yet ultimately they all derive from the originals.
